To be considered for the 2024 Oklahoma State University Scholarship, you must meet the following criteria:

• Educational Qualifications:
  • Possess an undergraduate degree in biology, ecology, wildlife, statistics, or a related field.
  • For PhD applicants, a Master’s degree (MS) in biology, ecology, wildlife, statistics, or a related field is required.
• Research and Publication:
  • Show a record of publishing peer-reviewed scientific papers.
• Quantitative Skills:
  • Have a strong quantitative background, including data wrangling and visualization in R.
  • Proficiency in statistics, especially hierarchical models and Bayesian analysis.
  • Skills in GIS & remote sensing.
• Field Experience:
  • Have some experience with camera trapping.
• Mentoring and Coordination:
  • Experience mentoring undergraduate researchers or coordinating volunteers.
• Communication Skills:
  • Possess excellent writing and communication skills.

• Teaching Assistantships:
