UNS INTERNATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP REQUIREMENTS:

To be considered for the 2024 UNS International Scholarship, you must:

• Citizenship:
  • Be a non-Indonesian citizen (those who hold Indonesian citizenships are not eligible).
• Interest in Bachelor’s Degree:
  • Show a strong interest in seeking a bachelor’s degree program at UNS (Universitas Sebelas Maret).
• Age:
  • Be under 24 years of age at the time of application.
• Interview:
  • Be willing and able to attend an interview over a video call.
• Refugee Status:
  • Not hold refugee status.
• Criminal Record:
  • Not have been convicted of a felony or significant crimes which caused the applicant to be imprisoned.
• Financial Support:
  • Have financial support to cover additional expenses not covered by the scholarship.
• Required Documents:
  • Complete all the required documents for the application process.

• Recent Formal Photograph: JPG or PNG format, max. 300 KB.
• Valid Passport: Color scan of the cover page and identity page, with at least 18 months of validity.
• Certificate of Graduation: From the latest education institution, in English or Indonesian.
• Academic Transcripts: From the latest education institution, in English or Indonesian.
• Recent Health Certificate: In English or Indonesian.
• Curriculum Vitae: Using the provided template.
• Financial Statement: Using the provided template.
• Personal Statement: Using the provided template.
• Certificate of Indonesian Language Proficiency: Strongly preferred.
• Certificate of English Language Proficiency.
• Letters of Recommendation (for master and doctoral programs):
  • Letter of recommendation #1, from a lecturer/professor or work supervisor.
  • Letter of recommendation #2, from a lecturer/professor or work supervisor.
• Preliminary Research Proposal (for doctoral program): To be developed into a dissertation.

To apply for the 2024 UNS International Scholarship, interested and qualified candidates should follow these steps:

• Research Study Programs:
  • Learn about and choose the study program that fits your interest. Check the list of available programs and the curriculum/courses at List of Courses.
• Prepare Required Documents:
  • Gather all the required documents listed above.
• Request Recommendation Letter from Indonesian Embassy/Consulate General:
  • Visit the Indonesian Embassy/Consulate General in your country to request a recommendation letter. Bring the following documents:
    • Letter of Offer from UNS
    • Passport
    • Graduation certificate
    • Academic transcript
• Create an Admission Account:
  • Go to the UNS International Admission website and create an admission account.
• Fill Out Personal Information:
  • Complete the personal information section on the application form.
• Upload Required Documents:
  • Submit all the required documents in the “Upload Document” section of the application.
• Print Registration Card:
  • After submitting the required documents, print the registration card.
• Administrative Selection:
  • The admission committee will conduct an administrative selection process.
• Initial Interview:
  • Candidates who pass the administrative selection will proceed to the initial interview stage.
• Computer-Based Test:
  • A computer-based test will be conducted for eligible candidates.
• Final Interview:
  • The last stage is a final interview conducted by the department.
• Notification of Acceptance:
  • Successful candidates will be notified by email and will receive the Letter of Acceptance.
