• Nationality:

• Bachelors Degree:
  • High School Certificate required: To apply for a Bachelor’s degree scholarship, you must have completed your high school education. This typically means you have finished secondary school and have received a certificate or diploma that qualifies you for higher education.
• Masters Degree:
  • Undergraduate Degree required: For a Master’s degree scholarship, you need to have an undergraduate degree. This implies that you have completed a Bachelor’s degree program at an accredited institution. The undergraduate degree serves as the foundational education necessary to pursue advanced studies.
• PhD Degree:
  • Masters Degree certificate required: To apply for a PhD scholarship, you must hold a Master’s degree. This indicates that you have completed graduate-level studies beyond the Bachelor’s degree, demonstrating advanced knowledge and research capabilities in your field of study. The Master’s degree is a prerequisite for the rigorous research and academic work involved in a PhD program.

APPLICATION DEADLINE:

There are four intakes every year for international students to apply for University of Alberta Scholarship in Canada. Deadline for each intake is given below:

• July 1 for September admission (annual)
• November 1 for January admission (annual)
• March 1 for May admission (annual)
• May 1 for July admission (annual)

HOW TO APPLY FOR UNIVERSITY OF ALBERTA SCHOLARSHIP:

• Visit the “Apply Now” Link:
  • Go to the official University of Alberta Scholarships application portal. You will find the “Apply Now” link on the university’s scholarship page.
• Create Your Account:
  • If you are a new user, you need to create an account. Provide your email address and create a password. You may also need to provide some basic personal information to set up your account.
• Start Your Application:
  • Once your account is created, log in to start your application. Follow the instructions provided on the portal.
• Fill the Application Form:
  • Complete the application form by providing all the necessary information. This includes personal details, academic history, and the specific scholarship you are applying for.
• Upload Necessary Documents:
  • You will need to upload various documents to support your application. These may include:
    • High School Certificate (for Bachelor’s degree applicants)
    • Undergraduate Degree Certificate (for Master’s degree applicants)
    • Master’s Degree Certificate (for PhD applicants)
    • Transcripts
    • Letters of Recommendation
    • Statement of Purpose
    • Resume/CV
    • Any other required documents as specified by the application guidelines
• Pay the Application Fee:
  • Before you submit your application, you must pay the application fee of $135 CAD. The fee amount and payment methods will be detailed on the application portal. Ensure you complete this step to avoid any delays or issues with your application.
• Submit Your Application:
  • Review your application to ensure all information is accurate and all required documents are uploaded. Once you are satisfied and have paid the application fee, submit your application through the portal.
• Check for Confirmation:
  • After submission, you should receive a confirmation email. Keep this email for your records.
• Follow Up:
  • Check the application portal regularly for updates on your application status. You may also receive further instructions or requests for additional information via email.
